Charles Hadife Architects: A Legacy of Excellence and Innovation
Established in 1988, Charles Hadife Architects is a multidisciplinary design firm with a portfolio boasting over 300 completed high-end projects. Our firm is renowned for innovative solutions that balance social and urbanistic impact, underpinned by extensive experience in sensitive contexts.
Specializing in restoration, we've successfully completed numerous projects in Beit Chebab, including residential, museum, community, and religious facilities. Our expertise extends to the strategic rectification of the Beit Chebab master plan, culminating in the area's historic classification, alongside numerous initiatives in collaboration with local municipalities.
In Beirut, we've transformed numerous buildings within the Solidere district and halted the demolition of many significant structures. Our proactive engagement with property owners, supplemented by esteemed relationships with the Direction Générale des Antiquités and the Ministry of Culture, underscores our commitment to sustainable development and cultural preservation.
Our expertise transcends borders, as evidenced by our contributions to urban planning in Erbil, and architectural renovations in London, notably the Nine New Bond Street building. We have orchestrated projects such as the Grand Hotel du Cap-Ferrat in St. Jean Cap Ferrat and the Sara Hotel in Damascus, among others, in over 20 countries, where we maintain respect for local cultures and traditions.
At Charles Hadife Architects, we pride ourselves on being 'explorer' architects, dedicated to transcending conventional practices through intuition, experimentation, and a profound respect for context. We are committed to crafting designs that seamlessly integrate with their historical surroundings while navigating future demands.
Our distinguished Founder and Creative Director, Charles Hadife, enriched his expertise at USEK University and through a Master’s program at the École de Chaillot/INBA, focusing on the restructuring of historic cities like Tripoli, Lebanon.
Currently, CHA is engaged in two prestigious projects within the UNESCO World Heritage area of Byblos' old port and near the Phoenician Wall of Batroun. We are also exploring a museum project in the classified region of Beit Chebab.
Beyond these, our ongoing endeavors include the Monot 95 (95-store apartment complex in Beirut), Almyra Boutique Hotel and serviced villas in Mounsef, and residential projects in Tartous and Gemmayzeh.
Charles Hadife Architects remains committed to excellence and cultural reverence, navigating the future with a masterful understanding of the past.
